Client Synopsis: Full Scale Solutions is currently recruiting for the following position located in West Chester NY. Our Client is a world leader in drug discovery and development.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities: Develop relationships with companies/clients (end-users), laboratory partner sales representatives and third-party selling agents to meet the sales objectives of the Hospital Sales business unit. Meet monthly, quarterly and yearly sales quotas and provide customer feedback to improve products to best meet our market demands.
Responsibilities include:
- Face to face client appointments, presentations to decision makers, in-service demonstration for staff.
- Customer service for both new and existing customers. Help resolve problems and complaints from the field.
- Reports, administration, ordering supplies for office and regional/state conferences and meetings, trips to post office, FedEx and office supply store.
- Performs job duties and tasks in compliance to meet company standards and specifications.
- Ensures job duties and tasks conform to FDA and ISO regulations.
- Sales Activities including: prospecting, forecasting, and generating sales of products and services.
- Gathering competitor intelligence, researching customer base.
- Scheduling appointments, scheduling travel and requesting reservations.
- Creating presentation handouts and notebooks.
- Product demonstration and instruction as needed.
- Attending trade shows and conferences.
- Answering emails.
- Organizing direct mail campaigns in territory.
- Entering customers and contacts in computer database.

Requirements:
- BA/BS in science field.
- Familiarity of the HIV/AIDS marketplace.
- 2-5 years sales experience in Diagnostics, Pharmaceutical or Medical Device industry.
- Ability to assess, train and develop representatives in several types of sales organizations.
- The ability to drive increased sales within multiple organizations.
- Ability to translate product knowledge and marketing objectives into direct customer promotion with distribution partners.
- To have a working knowledge of the following medical:
- Infectious Disease
- Emergency Medicine
- OB-GYN
- Occupational Health
- Pathology/Laboratory
- Ability to sell product successfully and grow business independent of co-promotional partners.
- Ability to handle several accounts at the same time and in various stages of closing the sale.
- Knowledge in formulating, writing and following a business plan and SMART plan.
- Self-motivation and time management skills.
- Excellent communication skills; ability to teach large groups.
- Ability to engage customers and distribution partners on a social level.
- PC proficiency.
- Understanding of the hospital market.
- Ability to prepare or respond to a request for proposal.
- Demonstrated product knowledge.
- Multi tasking skills.
- Operate office equipment, laptop with Microsoft software, Blackberry and telephone.
- Travel 80%.
