Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
We are currently seeking a Staff Applications Engineer to support legacy NEC MCU tools. This incumbent will be responsible for providing application engineering support for legacy NEC MCU tools. This includes the following:
- Provides customer and FAE support for technical issues related to emulators, debuggers, compilers, IDEs, programmers, etc.
- Development and presentation of material to train customers, FAEs and other support staff in the use of legacy NEC tools.
- Work with Japan and overseas regions to define tools requirements and create WW support network.

Desired Qualifications & Requirements:
- BSEE or BSCE minimum.
- 10 years experience in the design and development of embedded systems.
- Experience with multiple MCU products and associated tool chains.
- Assembly and C programming experience.
- Board level circuit design.
- Team player with strong interpersonal skills and experience working across departments and cultures.
- Demonstrated success in embedded system design.
