Client Synopsis:
Full Scale Solutions is currently recruiting for the following position based in Research Triangle Park, NC.
|
|
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
This incumbent will be responsible for all accounting related activities within the organization.
Responsibilities include:
- Responsible for the accurate and timely preparation, dissemination and analysis of financial management reports including, but not limited to, internal and external monthly financial statements, SEC filings as required, reports for the Board of Directors and corporate partners, and annual audits and annual budgets.
- Prepare for and manage year-end and quarterly financial audits.
- Manage the daily accounting functions related to AP/AR/Cash management, payroll, stock option accounting etc., including primary contact for all third party service providers, such as payroll processing and 409A valuators.
- Provide high level analysis and implementation of accounting and financial reporting issues, in particular, new accounting pronouncements and issues particular to corporate licensing or financing contracts.
- Assure corporate tax compliance by managing outsourcing to assure the accurate and timely completion of all U.S. federal, state and local corporate income tax returns.
- Establish and maintain systems and controls which verify the integrity of all systems, processes and data, and enhance the Company's value. Manage the implementation and Compliance with Sarbanes-Oxley Act and future SEC reporting requirements as necessary.
- Support budget and forecasting through updating of financial models to incorporate actual results and developing models to reflect various future scenarios.
- Respond to CFO as assigned with accurate and timely work to facilitate financial decision making.
- Responsible for the selection, maintenance or upgrade of financial software systems as needed to maintain timely, accurate and useful financial reporting.

Qualifications:
- Must possess a 4 year degree in accounting or finance.
- Must possess a minimum of 5 years of public company experience.
- Must have gone through an IPO.
- CPA preferred.
- Microsoft Dynamics (Solomon) accounting software highly desirable.
