Sales Executive - Job # 1941
Client Synopsis:
Full Scale is currently recruiting for the following Raleigh, NC based position.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
The Sales Executive will be responsible for the achievement of a sales target with a specific focus on the acquisition of new customers. Our Client is a private, rapidly growing scientific software company supporting full automation of environmental, clinical and public health laboratories.

Responsibilities:
  • Manage the sales process from start to finish including identifying, qualifying, analyzing business needs, presenting solutions, conducting software demonstrations, creating proposals and closing business.
  • Sell laboratory solutions to new prospects.
  • Develop and deliver strategic sales presentations and build solid relationships.
  • Build and execute a sales plan primarily geared towards acquiring new customers.
  • Maintain knowledge and in-depth expertise of key trends within the marketplace.
  • Accurately forecast revenues and proactively maintain internal reporting applications.
  • Participate in road shows, trade exhibitions and other events.
  • Respond to RFIs/RFPs as appropriate.
  • Other duties as assigned.
Requirements
  • B.S. in science or related field.
  • Must have experience in consultative, solution selling approach.
  • Proven experience managing a complex and competitive sales cycle.
  • Proven success in the acquisition of new customers.
  • Proven track record in selling laboratory information management solutions.
  • Familiarity with laboratory environments and workflows, specifically in the public health and water quality sectors.
  • Must excel at relationship management and extensive follow-up with prospects and customers.
  • Strong leadership presence with the ability to develop effective relationships throughout all levels of an organization internally and externally.
  • Willingness to travel up to 20-30%.
