Full Scale Solutions is currently recruiting for the following position. Our Client is a full-service testing and training company based in RTP, NC. (Relocation assistance may be provided)

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

We are currently seeking to hire a seasoned Product Development Chemist to work with a small team of very talented chemists, engineers, and entrepreneurs who value collaboration as one of their strongest asset. The ideal candidate will have experience that spans conceptualization of novel analyte detection methods, experimental design for rigorous testing of the method, prototype design, and method validation. Additionally, the candidate should exhibit outstanding perseverance, critical thinking, and troubleshooting skills. We are looking for individuals ready to dedicate themselves to the development of a life changing product.

Duties include, but are not limited to:

  • PhD in Chemistry, Chemical Engineering or closely related field.
  • Well-versed in common laboratory safety, hygiene, and organization.
  • Experience preparing and executing research timelines.
  • History of adapting to new roles both in and out of lab.
  • Versatile research background (industry and/or academic).
  • Colorimetric Assay Development and Validation.
  • Design and fabrication of Point-of-Care Diagnostic devices.
  • Single analyte detection in complex systems.
  • Bioorthogonal chemistry.
